Who is Niko? From 2DayFM Office Assistant to 2MCFM Afternoon Announcer via working nights in Goulburn, afternoons and weekends in Devonport (Tas) and breakfast in Lithgow… you’d think after 17 years I would have found a real job by now! Throw in stints as a copywriter, news director, sports reporter, part time sales dude, promotions manager and washing cars for rich radio executives my time in the “old squeaky chair” has been an eventful one but I wouldn’t swap it for anything in the world… unless of course I win a million bucks in Lotto then I’m outta here!

I’ve been lucky enough to pretend to be an AFL expert for 4 years on 2UE’s Overnight Show but you had to be awake at 4.30am to hear it! Having the opportunity to be the “MC” at Rabbitohs NRL trial games in Coffs over the past few years has been a huge thrill and interviewing the big celebs and personalities from the entertainment industry and the various sporting fields is always a major highlight and let’s not forget giving away concert tickets, holidays, cash and icey cold cans of coke to 2MCFM Listeners is always a buzz… and anything free I can get my hands on always makes me happy!

I love coordinating the Annual GIVE ME 5 FOR KIDS Campaign raising money for the sick and injured kids in our 4 local hospitals. We’ve now raised in excess of $150 000 over the past 6 years! I'd love to see Souths win a premiership one day… I was only 2 years old the last time they won a Grand Final in 1971!

I'm ready to takeover Strawny’s Brekky Show in 2020! I play Cricket in the local comp and I'm also a junior Football Coach and finally I'm married to Miss North-West Coast 1996 and have 2 kids (Alycia & Evan) who keep me sane!
